ITMA a national association was established in 1979 with the objective of promoting the interest of manufacturers of Distribution and Power Transformers, Auto Transformers, Furnace Transformers, Rectifiers Transformers, Instrument Transformers including Allied Industries dealing in Raw Material of CRGO Steel Lamination, Amorphous metal Insulating Material, Accessories like Buchholz Relay, OLTC, Radiators, Valves, Oil & Winding Temperature Indicators, Transformer Oil, Winding Wires, Cables/Conductors and to voice the problems of the Industry with the Government of India, State Governments, State Electricity Boards, Utilities and Power Companies in the business of Generation, Transmission & Distribution of electricity
It has been more than one year since I took over as ITMA President. It has been indeed an honour for me to serve the transformer industry. We were able to accomplish on many fronts which would not have been possible without your explicit support. During my introductory remark when I took over the reins of ITMA from my predecessor in the midstream, I appreciated the commendable work rather concerted efforts put in by Mr Anil Aggarwal and the way he handled the intricate problems with concerned authorities was really appreciable and I must say we were lucky to have him as our President.
